Aug. 31st, 2008 06:54 amSo, flickr uploadr is a nice concept, but it has some really big issues.
1) Ignores orientation EXIF .. c'mon!
2) Ignores GPS EXIF .. ARG!
I took out the GPS yesterday, so have managed to Geotag all my shots (however, I saved the track, which on my GPS, wipes the time data, but since we moved at a roughly constant speed all day, most of the photos are pretty accurate. Note to self, next time don't do that), but upon uploading some of them to flickr (uploads are counted for 3 Wireless, so I only did 4), all this fun data got wiped. What a rip.
Edited to add: turns out you need to turn on both of these features via the website. Thanks guys..
