Poor blu's motherboard blew up.. looks like about 4 capacitors and one of the power regulators went boom.. so she won't be online for a little while.. her dad is working on something tho. She also got a new HDD, which is proving to be fun as well.. with any luck she'll be back online tonight or something.

Yikes, that's certainly a fair bit of damage. Any idea how it happened?

It's either pirate capacitors, or the power supply when kablooey and took out the voltage regulaing caps on the motherboard.. I think it was the power supply, cause one of the regulator ICs went as well as the caps.

Interesting problem there with the capacitors in that article.
