Yeah, the funeral went pretty much as expected, much suckyness all round, but it was well done, and there were some lighter moments too. Damn empathy, seeing Chelsea crying really bummed me out :( I gave her a big hug afterwards :( One of the eulogies was from John's boss.. lemme just say, I too want to be remembered for my egregious breaches of Austel cabling requirements and my pirate DVD collection ;) What a guy. He really was.. I met him once and we chatted about my degree, and he said "shame it's not the financial sort of securities, I might have a job for you".
Went back to the Hardy house for the wake afterwards and caught up a bit more with Chels and chatted and stuff. I think she liked having us there. For those of you who know the usual suspects, in attendance was Brian, Dave, Jengis, Jock, Damo, Chris, Dylan, Denver and of course me. Yeah, I know someone named "Damo" .. short for Damien I assume. He's all class. Welcome to Australia ;)

If I didn't say it before, your friend is in my thoughts.
