Fricken LJ making phone-posts .ogg format. Weenies. Just use MP3 :PP

I am now pissed at phone posts because I can't play them in my browser and I need a seperate player to play them, and none of the players the help page link to work with OSX 10.3

Feh to ogg weenies.

I think they had some reason why they couldn't use mp3, but maybe they are looking into it in the future?

There's a very good reason they didn't use MP3s. Licensing fees would hurt. Go read the FAQ, and quit whining.

There's an ogg plugin for iTunes. I forget what it's called, but I use it, so it can't be too hard to find :)

It reputedly works with Quicktime, but I've had no success with it under Windows, maybe it works better on Macs.

Or you could use VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ which even has a native Mac port (as well as Win32, Linux, BeOS, QNX, *BSD, Solaris and Zaurus).

Or perhaps http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/13012 (as suggested by googling "ogg mac")

Or even MacAmp http://www.macamp.com/ supports ogg these days.
