kudzita; latin question.. "ex libris" means "from the books of", correct? Would "ex libris anatidae" (biological family that includes ducks) mean "from the books of ducks" .. if not, what should it be? :)

Also.. what would be latin for something like "this is only one"?

Technically ex libris just means "from the books," so the noun to whom the books belong would have to be genitive. If you want "from the books of ducks," what would work best would be ex libris anatum - since anes, anatis is the most common word for duck.

"This is only one" - well, depends on what gender it is. Probably something like hoc modo unum est, assuming it's neuter; otherwise, hic modo unus est for masculine or haec modo una est for feminine.

Bet you never ask me to translate for you again. :P
