So my grandfather finally died today, after breaking his skull after falling last April. I think it's for the best, all things being considered. He had Alzheimer's, so for the last 5 years or so, he's been really out of it all. But still, he was a good guy and I'll miss him.

Know what you mean; my grandma died way back in '92, after two strokes, two operations for cancer, several less serious things, and three or four years of alzheimer's - sad, but just...time.
