Mm so also today, I got to borrow a D70 for a bit and have a play. It's kinda nifty, but it would take a snot-load of getting used to. I say "would", since the thing is actually pretty big and reasonably heavy :> but it does take nice photos. Additionally, the owner of this one also came across somewhere in perth with a D70 (not D70s) with kit lens for $1740 (vs $1969 for a D70s with the same lens). The differences between the D70s and the D70 are, as far as I can tell, a mechanical cable release as well as the wireless one on the D70, and a slightly larger LCD.
