For those of you not living in WA.. after passing a practical driving test, you need to have 25 hours of logged driving experience before you can get a probationary license (which you have for 2 years before getting a full license).

In unrelated news, Liz and I went to New Norcia today. It's very.. Monastic. We stopped by her parents on the way there to have a birthday breakfest for her sister, and by there on the way back to have some cake (none of us felt like it straight after breakfast :). All in all, poor little stylish-design (our car, for those who haven't met it :) did 290kms today, and I clocked up about 3.5 hours of driving logged time, bringing me to just over 5 or 6 hours logged so far. I'm not at the counting stage yet really.

In other news, Liz's parents' neighbour has moved her ducks to be right next to their place! *squee*. They are so cute. Mostly Khaki Campbells, but one Silver Appleyard, and several Emden Geese. Which for geese aren't too bad. Y'know, for geese.
