theducksMmm I slept in this morning till about 10:30. It's been *so so so* long since I've done that. Yay sleeping in.

lizbyrd and I grabbed mpfl and went to Nandos, IKEA, Austin and Officeworks. We got a 250GB hdd and a DVDRW drive from Austin. A fun, if not slightly wet, day was had by all.
When we got home from our trip overseas, the Windows install on the media PC was screwed. These things happen, it is windows afterall.. and I'd been meaning to reformat and reinstall for ages anyway, however I didn't have a big hard drive to copy everything onto first.
I stuck the new hard drive in the media PC, reinstalled onto it, and then copied stuff back off the old one, using the nifty USB-IDE widget I bought in Singapore. When I verify everything I want is off there, I shall have a spare 120GB drive :D I may put it in the cube, or just keep it around as a spare, and put my current spare (an 80GB) in the cube. The burner will apparently be going in Liz's PC, and I'll get her slightly slower and more dodgy one (but still able to be RPC-1) for the media PC.
Tomorrow, breakfast with the usual crowd at Tiamos.. yay Tiamos breakfasts, then I have plans to visit my mum for lunch, cause she's going away for 3 weeks.. If I didn't see her tomorrow, by September 10th, it would mean I'd only seen her twice in the last 3 months.
