Two Powerbook G3's!

Bwah ha ha ha ha.
Went over to Arts today and did some more office arranging. Was told I could have two dead Powerbook G3/500's (Pismo, natch). Sure enough, I was able to turn them into one working system.
I plan to make a Photo frame out of it, since, well, it's a nice enough machine, but I don't actually need /another/ laptop. Should be an exciting project. I've already stripped down the LCD module out of the bad one, and flattened out the FPC LVDS cable to check I can turn it over, and I can. Leaving that to straighten out some more right now. All good mate! :D
Will post updates as I progress over the next few years (hey, I'm an optimist)
This post has a different icon and a subject line since, well, usually my LJ posts don't have either.
