I'm trying to play with VMware Fusion, so I can have a linux scratch box. Except, the network setup is screwy.
If I choose NAT, there's no possible way to get to the virtual machine.. the NAT interface doesn't seem to appear to MacOSX, unlike the one for Parallels.
If I choose host-bridged, I can ping the virtual host, but I can't ssh/telnet/http to it. However, if I use a web proxy, I can get to web pages hosted on there.
Sigh. I think I'll need a VM hosted on our ESX box..
