Wheee new bike.

See, my previous bike was too small for me, and I'd been meaning to get a new one. This morning, while riding to work, I managed to get a chunk of brick speared into my tyre, which caused it to go flat in quite a spectacular fashion.

So at lunch time today, I hopped aboard the 102 bus, and went down to the Bike store, and bought a new bike. It's so swoony and fast and easy to ride. Picture here - http://theducks.org/pictures/new-bike.jpg

Hahaha. Is that a shock absorber underneath the seat? Is your bum too precious for bumps?

Haha.. it's pretty wanky, I agree. It wasn't a feature that sold me, don't worry. And it doesn't help much :P

You blew a tire and replaced the entire bike?

Yeah, you can't replace them can you??

I've been meaning to get a new bike for about 4 weeks or so.. this basically spurred me into action. I'm giving the old one to [livejournal.com profile] lizbyrd's dad
