(no subject)

Just got back from seeing The Simpsons Movie with [livejournal.com profile] stephiepenguin and [livejournal.com profile] davyd. It was hilarious. Kind of went on the spur of the moment, because we were over there for dinner (mm laksa).

In other news, I have a new boss at work.. since the guy who hired me was only acting in the position. I knew new boss though, so him coming back isn't a bad thing. He has lots of neat ideas, and I've been in the process of getting them into reality. It's nice to work for an IT organisation that actually does stuff, instead of spending years planning..

What is this crap?

I was elected to lead, not to read.

Hrmmm, so you guys don't have the Rimmer format of planning? That's such a fool proof system, it really is.

Just cause I am sure everyone here knows, what kinda IT stuff do you do? Programming? Or hardware stuffs? I like to keep such people in my mind, I always seem to be charged with finding such people.

He maintains a closely interconnected network of spiderpigs.

Ahh right. So it seems that my sparse yet efficient network of Ninja Badgers (UK wing entrusted to Ruuhaha) my have some conflicts with said Spiderpigs?

More seriously, I do hardware stuffs and systems management and delivery. Look after about 30 servers running windows/linux/osx, provide infrastructure for 2400 people to use 500 computers.

Or, from time to time, pull trolleys across car parks with 177 iPods on them.

Likewise, I've been enjoying working for the IT organisation that is Facilities Management.
