Rocking up early for the flight has allowed for some introspection of the journey ahead.
No, not the married life thing :P
More specifically this flight. It's a UA/Air Canada code-share, bound for Atlanta, via Chicago. Talk about sucking. Not only would you have to do SIN-HKG (4 hours), you'd then have to do HKG-CHI (what, 13 hours?) then CHI-ATL (another 4 hours?)
And then, at the end of it, to add insult to injury, you'd be in Atlanta.
