Yes Minister

So after Loic pointed out that Fred Phelps and his bunch of nutters were planning to come to Australia to picket Heath Ledger's funeral, I decided to give the governmental process a bit of a poke.

So I called up the minister for Immigration and had a chat to his secretary. She said she wasn't sure if he'd be able to help, since she was new. I pointed out that the minister was too, but that it seems like it's within his remit to prevent undesirable foreign nationals entering Australia. She gave me his email address, and I've sent off a little letter (with references) about the Phelps family and the Westboro Baptist Church, along with their charming press release.

I shall keep you all posted.

Also, while I heartily applaud this idea, according to FOXNews (a clearly unbiased source), they've said they're going to picket his memorial services in the US, not those held in Australia.
