Bwaha..

Oh man..

Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm not one to immediately trust DailyKos with information about prominent republicans, but I must say, this is convincing..

You (may or may not..) know that Sarah Palin (John McCain's VP running mate) has been widely reported of being pregnant, then having a baby with Downs Syndrome, thus fossilizing her pro-life platform.

Except, the problem that DailyKos has made a very very good case for, is that she looks like she was never pregnant during, well, all of her pregnancy, and as governor of Alaska, she gets photographed a lot. Her 16 year old daughter, on the other hand, was out of school for months with "Mono" and who looks pregnant in a bunch of official photos. Uh huuuh.

Remind me again who shouldn't be trusted with "the button"?

Postviral fatigue hits on a spectrum, from mildly dragging for a few weeks to completely bedridden for months or longer. And young people, including teenagers, get it too.

As for that DailyKosian presenting a persuasive argument? Erm, no. It seems based entirely on someone looking at the photos who really isn't familiar with the variety of pregnant women's bodies. To me, having worked pretty extensively with pregnant women, Palin looks either pregnant or concealing in every single picture presented as "evidence" of her "not being pregnant", and very convincingly pregnant in the Juneau video. The linchpin of the poster's argument seems to centre around the idea that a woman halfway through her pregnancy couldn't possibly be getting around at a brisk walk or enjoying vigorous exercise, something that is patently false.

Oh well, learned something new. I was only going on what I knew and saw when we had an outbreak of it when I was in high school.
