Sydney so far..

Saturday:
- Arrived into Sydney at 6AM or something.
- Got taxi to hotel.
- Slept until 10:30.
Thanx redeye flight..
- Walked around opera house then over Sydney Harbour Bridge to Kirribilli (Google Suggests this was about 6kms)
- Walked through Luna Park (It's not that impressive)
- Caught Ferry back to Hotel
- Walked down to King St Wharf for dinner

Sunday:
- Went to Bondi Beach
- Went to Museum of Sydney

Monday:
- Went to USyd in the morning to have a look around, by bus. Reasonably impressive.
- Went to Cronulla Beach by train. No riots. Most put out.
Train ride wasn't too worrying. I had 6 transit guards for company
- Caught the train from Cronulla to Bondi Junction (opposite ends of the line, took about 90 minutes)
Much better weather than Sunday. Took some photos.

Tuesday:
- Packed up room in morning, checked out of hotel 1, got taxi to hotel 2
- Found out hotel 2 was not the hotel 2 I thought it was.
- Caught another taxi to the real hotel 2
Crazy ass Nigerian taxi driver.. my god.
- Caught bus to Circular Quay
- Went to the Gap in the early afternoon (by Ferry)
The Gap really isn't that impressive. The Albany WA one is better. This one had the NSW Police Rescue team at it practicing though.
- Went to Manly beach in the afternoon (by Ferry)
The journey to Manly is slow and once you get there, it's really nothing special.
- Caught the ferry back from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour
Used GPS to find my way back to the hotel.

Today:
- Museums!
- Hyde Park Barracks Museum
- Old Mint Building
- Reserve Bank Currency Museum (!!!)
OMG I'll be back there. So many important Australian banknotes. I just have no words.
- Wandered back to hotel so far for a bit of a rest (Google Maps suggests I've done 6kms of walking so far today, and it's only just on 2PM)

Todo:
- State Library of NSW
- Australian Museum
- Buy socks

Sounds like a fun trip. I haven't been to Sydney for years. You're making me excited about my upcoming Melbourne trip with all your talk of museums and libraries.
