You know, I'm no big fan of McCain (except their wonderful chips.. ah McCains, you've done it again!) but I think using FOIA to try to dredge up details that may suggest John McCain was involved (or caused) a fatal traffic accident *45* years ago is probably going a little too far
Of course, he was already in his 40s (in base 8) at the time. And Sarah Palin hadn't even been born, but y'know, whatever.
*zing*

His PR group has been adept at manipulating the wide majority of the uneducated public into voting for him - that's obvious from the reports of record turnouts across the country for early polling.
This is just asinine. God fucking forbid that someone make a mistake decades ago.
In last year's local elections, Indianapolis' congress race was against the longstanding incumbent, Julia Carson (a hard left Democrat) and her Republican opponent, Eric Dickerson. Carson's cronies managed to dig up a retracted report that Dickerson's wife filed against him for abuse.
Twelve years ago.
She ran a smear campaign against Dickerson the week before the election, and it certainly worked. People voted against him because they thought he was a wife beater due to something that may or may not have happened years ago.
I wish these idiots could stick to, at the most, five years in the past.
