Apple makes these nice computers, then meaniepants take the OS and install it on regular PCs. I personally think this is awesome, but I know Apple doesn't share my opinions on this subject.

Anyway, there are limitations, you have to use the same basic hardware that Apple does, or else stuff doesn't work. One of the pains is wireless networking, since Apple only uses about 4 chipsets, you have to use one of their cards.

Until now. Realtek has apparently leaked OSX drivers for the wireless card in the MSI Wind netbook. Any why not? they have drivers available for OSX for their wired network cards..

I suppose the interesting thing is that there is no reason you would need these drivers, unless you were installing a hacked OSX on your MSI Wind netbook, and the hardware vendor is supporting this. I think this is pretty cool.

Nice! My lappy needed a new wireless card when we hackintoshed it.

(By the way, I wiped it and reinstalled Leopard recently, using the newer Boot-132 method. SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD WAY.)

That's fricking awesome. Now if only Nvidia and/or ATi did the same thing we'd be set!
