theducksThe evening began for me with a BBQ at Lois and Lachlan's place.
Followed by TomTom directing me down a now-rerouted dead-end street, persistently, while trying to go to Matt and Susie's.
Eventually worked out how to use the "Find Alternative" option. Thanks TomTom.
Got there, hung out, took photos, played with both my and Michal's new flashes. Got taken out of action by Davyd deftly removing my flash gun and firing it in my eyes. Everything went purple.. and my colour perception was screwy for about 15 minutes. Note to self, shut eyes next time, fwiw.
Caught up with Tom and Max, also Amber, met one of Joh's crazy Canadian friends.
Woke up early this morning and spent some time reading up on flash diffusers. Am a bit upset I didn't remember to try using one of the disposable cups as one. I think it would have gone quite well.
