The two sunset ones were taken with my nifty-50 lens. The two plane ones with my 100-400L. Both lenses have their place :)

The nifty-50, as I refer to, and to which flyingblogspot refers to the Nikon equivalent of.. is Canon's cheapest lens, and one of their best. The two sunset photos were taken with it.

You'd be looking for the "Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens" .. which is about $99-$150 depending on where you get it.

Picked up a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 D as a Christmas present from velvetbutter this year, and it is squeetastic. :D
