I am finding myself fascinated by people restoring classic Australian (Holden) cars.. it kinda started when looking up stuff about painting cars. I like a nice fresh coat of paint on a car, it seems. If I didn't do IT, I think it's what I'd like to do. But that's a flight of fancy that doesn't really make sense at this time :)

I'm also amused by them having totally separate communities for each model.

My uncle has my great grandmothers old (pre holden? Vauxhall? something?) car gathering rust in his shed. Such a shame too, it'd be a lovely car to do up.

But he'll never get off his arse and either fix it or give it to other family...

Dude I work on cars for more than 50% of my non work off time. In fact last Saturday I worked from 10am to midnight working on about 5 cars.

Its more than a flight of fancy and I would say I would say working IT is a bit easier on the body.
