Coor.. the old feet and muscles in general are getting a bit of a work out today. All the new computers and printers arrived yesterday, so today we're unpacking them. we have all 33 computers out of boxes, and about 20 of the monitors.

Think back to getting your computer.. if you got it new, think how hard it was to unpack the thing. Multiply that by 33 :) The printers I've done one of.. takes about 20 minutes per printer to get it out of the box.

Other highlights were carting the boxes of disks to upgrade the old machines with. I was holding 2 boxes with a total of 1.4 terabytes of HDD space in them :D

if your not worried about reusing the boxes and want to do it faster get a blade and cut the boxes away... then all you have to do is lift off the foam and the machine is sitting ready for you to plug in...

There were 350 machines get set up that way here at work a few years ago..
