I think I'll just set my mom up to use my UWA dialup. She works there too. Shouldn't be an issue :)

I'd probably have to unplug your dad's computer tho. Unless you had a hub, which is sort of like a 4 way splitter for ethernet :)

I think I'll be able to get cable internet or Sympatico HSE where I'll probably be staying, so it won't be too bad. But I dunno. There may be some issues. Grrfgh. Damn, I guess I'll just have to come visit you a bit ;) You're sure you don't have a spare room, right? ;) heheh

here we go again.. you are lucky that you have the option for ADSL... i'm stuck with dialup since telstra and optus just laugh when i ask if there are any other options available...

iprimus seems like the next best plan though. i wonder how long till they go bust?

Doh.. do you live too far from an exchange to have ADSL? The only thing which had been a problem with ADSL was the cost, but oh well. Speeed is good. I don't download a lot. I just need 2GB per month really.

And I want to stay the hell away from any internet offerings from Telstra :)

yeah, i live in the sticks. i download a fair bit so i really cant afford the ADSL costs even if we were close enough.

i want to stay away from telstra and optus too... but if its the only option then.... but neither offer plans that suit me anyway.

i'm looking at iPrimus or XIS atm. both seem reasonable and have okay ratios... but i'm going to have to pay $30 + a month which isn't what i budgeted for.
