It seems like forever since I've been here. Ok.. yesterday, went to
bluJen's place in the afternoon, and we hung out, with her playing her platinum GBA.. and me getting a go of it sometimes too. Mmm mario bros fun. The idea was for an early night cause this morning was going to be a better one, so everyone went to bed at about 10.. except, I woke up at noon that day, so I wasn't particularlly tired. So I finished "Return of the King".. and went to sleep at 2:30. Ewps. Oh well :) It was a good read.
Then this morning, we were up and about at 6:30. Headed up to Western with Jen and got there at about 7:40, both still half asleep, to collect regalia, while Jen's dad went back so he could pick up Jen's mom after her sister had gone to school. Collecting regalia was funky.. saw a bunch of people I knew, some of whom I hadn't seen since first year and others I hadn't seen for a while. I took Jen's stuff and mortar board while she went off to line up and get ready for stuff. Hung around outside Alumni Hall waiting for Jen's parents.. and waiting.. Finally 20 mins before the ceremony was supposed to start, I went in.. and saw them. Some how they had got in there without me seeing them. Sneaky parents. Ahh well, got a seat pretty close to them anyway, which afforded me better photo ops. Ceremony was funky, watching processions and stuff. Reminded me of mine, 13 months ago :) Heheh. Not that any of you will know these people, but for my own records, I saw Erin McDevitt, Amanda Grey, Kathy, Anna, Andrew, August graduating, and sat next to Jen K's sister and parents, and behind Kristine Hoad.
After the ceremony, Jen's parents and I met up with her in the lobby of Alumni Hall, and we went walking towards the reception outside the UCC. Jen got her piece of paper framed and all were happy. Then we got cake, and were happier :) Hehe. Then the four of us went into the UCC and sat down for a bit. Then Jen and I went to return her regalia and stuff. Then we went back to Jen's place, via my place. At my place, I quickly plugged in my camera, downloaded the pictures, and started a batch upload to my website, so they were still uploading when we got back to Jen's place. Much fun was had by all viewing them :) I'd give you the URL, but I'd have to kill you ;) And they're all 4MP pictures.. so they're 1.4MB each. Bwah. I played on Jen's computer for a bit, then noticed she'ld fallen asleep on her bed :) Hehe, well poor Jen, she had had a long day, so I sauntered off downstairs and had a sleep myself. Woke up at 4:00, then Jen and I went to Toys R Us and White Oaks with her dad, to exchange a faulty light for her GBA, and get a case for it. I had a cinnabon at White Oaks too :D Mmm Cinnabon. Then we went back to her place, and grabbed her mom and sister, and we all went to East Side Marios. I had nachos.. with olives. Ew.. well sorta. It was actually pretty good :) I got full, then we went back to Jen's place, and plotted tomorrow's plan.
Tomorrow, I'm meeting jen at her place, and we're going up to Maisonville Chapters to see The Brothers Kregann! :D ie, two of them scarborough boys of BNL :) Yay!
