(no subject)

Woke up at like.. 5:30AM today.. damn sunlight making too much light get in my window and keep me awake. Cuurses. Went back to sleep after checking LJ, then woke up again at 8:30.. hung around doing little until 12:30.. went to Fremantle by train to pick up a knife (mmm big sharp knives.. what? :) We had to send our big cutting knife away cause the handle was made of wood and had got all splintery and stuff.. and they sent us back a new one.. worth $190.. yay for good knives ;)

Then went into town with the idea of doing some clothes shopping.. but didn't see anything that took my fancy.. didn't look very hard.. heh. Bought some geeky books, and the Blackadder Series 4 DVD. Yay. Now I have them all. The geeky books were a CCNA study guide, and a "Cisco ISP Essentials" book, which had a nice overview of CIDr, WAN topology and router administration. Very niche geeky :) I need to learn more first, but I really think I'd like to be a network engineer one day..

I also saw my old manager from Coles, Paula. I was struck by how much she looks like Allyson Hannigan (willow from buffy). Bizarre :) Had a bit of a catch up chat with her, which was good. She's doing the same job in Claremont now.
